Message	EGR valve to the driver's side manifold is toward the firewall. As in, the nut that you want to break loose is at the end where the manifold points toward the firewall. Make sure you soak it with PB blaster as it's a PITA to get it to break loose. I have nightmares about that happening...I'd be the poor bastard you'd hear about on the news that gets killed by a softball-size chunk while spreading out my body over the hood and screaming "Nooo!"
